A cleanser has to do two things that usually fight each other: lift oil, pollution and daily buildup off the skin, while leaving the skin barrier intact. Harsh sulfate-based cleansers do the first job well and the second one badly — that's the tight, stripped feeling most foaming washes leave behind.

This formula uses a blend of milder surfactants — Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Decyl Glucoside and Sodium Cocoamphoacetate — to foam and cleanse without relying on harsher sulfates. Salicylic Acid is included at a level meant to help with clogged pores and everyday breakouts, while Neem and Tulsi extracts work alongside it to calm skin that might otherwise react to an exfoliating ingredient.

To offset any dryness from cleansing, the formula adds Sodium Hyaluronate for moisture retention, along with Hydrolyzed Wheat and Soy Proteins to support skin's texture and softness. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a stable form of Vitamin C, is included for its antioxidant and brightening-supportive properties.
